Diamond Chase Digital has joined forces with the Swiss based Heinrich Mantel AG company to offer the high speed, high resolution computer-to-screen system called the DataScreen™. Many years of quality screen manufacturing enabled Diamond Chase to enter the digital industry with a strong pre-press approach. The DataScreen™ strengthens the "systems approach" from the frames to the press set-up and registration.

Resolution
The Mantel "Computer to Screen" system utilizes 4 print heads with various output settings to optimize both speed and resolution. The DataScreen can operate in a 360 DPI up to a 1440 DPI based on the complexity of the artwork. Most vector files will run in the 360 or 720 mode for speed. Halftones of 65 to 85 LPI will run in the 1080 or 1440 mode. Print quality and output speed are linked together.
